Who is D.G. Roberts?

D.G. Roberts is a quiet guy who enjoys his tales told through various mediums. He has written off and on since childhood. From short stories to poems, from screenplays to even fan fiction, his mind has always been filled with tales of his own. His favorite genre is fantasy, where many of his ideas live. Naturally, his biggest inspiration for fantasy is Lord of the Rings.
Though many of his tales still live in his mind, some have been penned on paper, while others reside digitally. It was not until recently, however, that he felt a drive to write with the goal of publishing, to share his tales with others, and to simply get those ideas out there and put them up on his bookshelf.
Born and raised, and still living in Pensacola, FL, D.G. Roberts has grown up with geek and nerd culture. Seeing and experiencing stories through different mediums has helped to get his creative side flowing. Several of his fantasy tales have even been sparked by orchestral music, seeing a story form in his mind as the music accompanies. Music introduced to him by his cousin. Music he never though he would enjoy when he became a fan of rock and metal.
With the spark to write revitalized with a fiery passion, his debut novel, Embers of Dusk: Lost Light of Era'Nyn, is set to be the first of many tales he plans to self publish. With book one in the fantasy epic trilogy, D.G. Roberts implements some of his own experiences with loss and tragedy into the new fantasy world of Era'Nyn and its characters.
